Competition format:
The winners of the Polish Ekstraklasa will be entered into the UEFA Champions League qualifying stages, with the teams finishing in 2nd and 3rd place entering the UEFA Europa League. The teams finishing in the bottom two places at the end of the season will be relegated to the Polish I Liga, the second division in Poland.
