Ascoli, Bari, Brescia, Cesena, Cittadella, Crotone, Empoli, Grosseto, Juve Stabia, Lecce, Livorno, Modena, Novara, Padova, Pro Vercelli, Reggina, Sassuolo, Spezia, Ternana, Varese, Vicenza and Virtus Lanciano.
Competition format:
The teams finishing in the top two places of the Italian Serie B are automatically promoted to Italian Serie A at the end of the season, with the teams in 3rd to 6th places competing in the play-offs to decide who else will be promoted. The teams finishing in the bottom three places are relegated to the Italian Serie C1.
