The teams from the Indonesian Super League entered into the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup, is dependent on the AFC Final Assessment Ranking. For the 2009–2012 seasons, the ISL have one team each in the AFC Champions League group stage and play-off stage, with one team also qualifying for the AFC Cup.
