Competition format:
The winners and runners-up of the Danish Superliga will be entered into the UEFA Champions League qualifying stages, with the 3rd and 4th placed teams being entered into the UEFA Europa League. The teams finishing in the bottom two places will be relegated to the Danish 1st Division.
